Shin-obi System
Like the system of martial arts, your kid has the opportunity to test, elevate and earn advanced levels of Ninja Warrior training! Students earn a Sash/Arm-band which is a symbol of their progression and ranking, rewarding the best students with the honor of wearing a black sash.
Advancement Testing Requirements
Rules: All advancement course testers are required to pass a series of obstacles and give a summary of the 5 core attitudes. Each tester gets 2 attempts on each individual obstacle. Each tester can use chalk at the beginning of the test.
Yellow Sash
Complete 2 of 6 obstacles and define one of the 5 Core Attitudes.
Obstacle intensity is at a minimal. Students also must demonstrate safety falls and structural mounting.
Orange
Complete 3 of 6 obstacles and recite all 5 Core Attitudes.
Obstacle intensity is at a low moderate.
Blue Sash
Complete 4 of 6 obstacles and recite all 5 Core Attitudes and give an example on how you demonstrated a core attitude outside of the gym.
Obstacle intensity is at a mid moderate. The main focus is on Laches.
Red Sash
Complete 5 of 6 obstacles and recite all 5 Core Attitudes and give an example on how you demonstrated all 5 core attitude outside of the gym.
Obstacle intensity as at a high medium.
Black Sash 1st-5th
1st Complete 6 of 7 obstacles and must be all of the 5 Core Attitudes.
2nd Must complete an agility, precision, and speed course in 2:30 minutes.
3rd Must complete a grip, upper-body, agility, and speed course in 3:00 minutes.
4th Shin-obi Must complete a 60 foot rope climb in .30 secs.
